Smith River Bridge
The long-standing Dr. Fine Bridge that has stood over the Smith River in Crescent City since 1940 has finally reached its useful lifecycle. Approximately 1050.90 ft. long by 30 ft wide, the Dr. Fine Bridge will undergo a complete demolition fora new structure designed to replace it.
Transpacific Steel has been hired to complete two key scopes for the projects completion. First, a detour bridge will be constructed that will allow temporary access for its pedestrians to use during the construction of the replacement bridge. Secondly, Transpacific Steel will continue to complete the project by providing all the steel and labor to rebuild the new designed bridge that will reconnect Highway 101 over the Smith River once again.
